Oumi recently celebrated its first birthday 🎂 

To mark the occasion - and do some very important planning work too of course - the Oumi team got together in our Bellevue office. It was the first time many of us had met in person, and the first time the entire Oumi team was all together in one place at the same time!

In just 12 months, we’ve grown from an idea into a global movement for open source AI: 

• ⭐ 8,000+ GitHub stars

• 🧠 120+ research collaborators

• 💬 1,000+ members in our Discord community

• 🧪 Partnerships with academics from 13+ leading research universities

Manos and Oussama had a great time at ICLR.

Matthew and William had a great time at LlamaCon! They loved chatting with Michael Han and Daniel Han of Unsloth about all things open source AI.
